ACADEMY TERMS

Academy policies.

Terms for access, purchases, assignments, privacy, completion records, and certification.

Effective August 21, 2026
01

Course access period

Free Foundations enrollment and each paid course purchase include access for the assigned learner for 12 months from the date the learner account is activated. Unassigned paid learner access expires 12 months after the purchase date.

Access is personal to the assigned learner and includes course lessons, saved progress, the final assessment, and the course completion record. Access may be suspended for chargebacks, misuse, account sharing, or a violation of these policies.

02

Refund policy

Foundations of Hospitality is free and has no charge to refund. For a paid module or bundle, a purchaser may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase when no learner included in the order has started a paid module.

After a learner starts a paid module, or after the seven-day window, the purchase is nonrefundable. Multi-course bundles are refunded only as a complete order; partial refunds for unused course credits are not offered. Duplicate charges or billing errors will be reviewed and corrected.

Send requests to info@themanagerstable.com with the order number and purchaser email.

03

Learner-assignment transfer policy

A purchaser may transfer a paid course assignment one time before the assigned learner completes the first lesson. Once the first lesson is completed, the assignment and its progress record cannot be transferred. Free Foundations enrollment is created for the individual learner and is not transferable.

The replacement learner must use a unique email address. A transfer does not restart or extend the original access period. Organization assignments must be transferred by the purchaser or an authorized organization contact.

04

Privacy statement

The Academy collects the information needed to provide training: learner name and email, enrollment, lesson progress, written reflections, assessment results, course-completion and certification records, and support communications. Squarespace processes purchases; The Manager's Table Academy does not store full payment-card numbers.

We use learner information to provide account access, save progress, issue completion records, send operational course-access and progress reminders, support learners, prevent misuse, and maintain business records. Reminder emails stop when the course is completed. A learner may ask support to stop nonessential progress reminders.

Service providers used to operate the Academy may process information on our behalf. We do not sell learner personal information. When training is purchased or assigned by an organization, authorized managers may view assigned learners' names, emails, enrollment status, lesson completion, assessment score, certification status, and activity dates. Managers do not receive learners' written reflections through Academy reporting.

We retain records only as reasonably needed for course delivery, completion verification, security, accounting, and legal obligations. To request access, correction, reminder removal, or deletion of eligible information, email info@themanagerstable.com. Some purchase and completion records may need to be retained.

05

Certification and completion-record disclaimer

Each successfully completed course is recorded separately in the learner's course log. A single course completion does not grant Manager's Table Certified™ status or create a formal certificate.

The Manager's Table Hospitality Leadership Certification is issued only after the same learner completes at least four distinct eligible Academy courses and meets each course's passing requirements. The formal certificate displays the learner's account name, issue date, and unique verification ID.

The credential is not a professional license, government certification, academic credit, accreditation, food-safety credential, alcohol-service credential, or guarantee of employment, promotion, placement, or job performance. Employers and regulators may require separate training or credentials. Learners remain responsible for following workplace policies and applicable laws.
